Wembley goalscorer Ben Turner has been handed a five game ban after being found guilty of racial abise.

The former Cardiff defender, now at Burton, will serve the suspension after a Football Association commission decreed he had used abusive and/or insulting words to Brentford's Nico Yennaris.

An incident in the 94th minute of Burton's clash with Brentford on December 10, which ended in a 2-1 defeat for the Brewers, has seen Turner banned for five games and fined £8,000.

The 28-year-old must also attend an FA education course, after his words were deemed to reference Yennaris' ethnic origin, race or nationality.
