Former City stars enjoy US Coaching success

Former Cardiff City full-back Clive Charles has won the college National Women's Championship. Charles and his assistant, former City 'keeper, Bill Irwin have been together for 14 years at the University of Portland and yesterday they beat Santa Clara in a golden goal double overtime game by 2-1 to take their first National title.

Charles who is also the US Men's Olympic Team coach has been struggling against cancer over the past 18 months.

Well done to both, it's nice to hear that former City greats and still thriving. Good luck to Clive in his battle against cancer.
