Fowler looking to open City account

CARDIFF City left for their Championship match with Plymouth Argyle today with Bluebirds striker Robbie Fowler feeling confident he's closer to opening his City goal account.

With 60 minutes of Championship football under his belt the former Liverpool legend urges Bluebirds supporters to be a bit more patient.

The 32-year-old spoke frankly for the first about his ambitions, and laid it on the line in no uncertain terms that he's ready to do battle, not just for his employers, but for his own personal pride.

"I'm certainly not here to rest on my laurels that's for sure," said Fowler.

"I'm not here to just pick up money.
