Cameron Jerome was a very late substitute for England as they lost 2 - 1 in Nancy to a disputed penalty in the 86th minute.

The defeat means England fail to qualify for the 2006 U21 championships.

A shame for Cameron and for City supporters who would have liked to have seen a City player in a major finals, even at U21 level.

Well done to Cameron for getting an appearance.
