FT Reading 0 - 0 Cardiff City

Not that many clear cut chances.

Cardiff opened brightly but after losing Craig Bellamy to a hamstring injury Reading took control and it's fair to say gave Cardiff a torrid time for the remainder of the first half.

After the break neither side played with much tempo and Cardiff were guilty of giving away possession when in good positions. The attacking midfield of JET and Burke were both guilty of creating next to nothing.

Not the greastest of games. Tense for all involved but in the cold light of day a goalless draw away in the first leg is a good result for Cardiff.

I want to see a more offensive City in the second leg who have the chance to win one match to go to Wembley.

Sky commentators say first time ever both first legs end goalless.
