DANNY GABBIDON has heightened fears he may have played his last game for Cardiff City by underlining his ambition to follow big mate Rob Earnshaw into the Premiership.

Gabbidon outlined his wishes as he trained with Earnie and the rest of John Toshack's Wales squad in the Spanish sunshine resort of San Sebastian yesterday.

The Bluebirds stalwart says he will return from the training camp in northern Spain to meet Cardiff manager Lennie Lawrence to discuss his future.

Asked directly just where he would be playing his football next season, Gabbidon said, "I really don't know at this stage.

"The financial situation at Cardiff has been well documented and hopefully things will become a lot clearer for the club and myself in the next few weeks.
