"The good news is we've found out Anthony isn't suspended," Dave Jones told the official website. "I was told yesterday that the deadline for bookings had changed. The confusion arose because of the change in those dates, but it's a happy outcome for us.

There may be a return for Gavin Rae who tweaked his hamstring the 3rd round tie at Ashton Gate against Bristol City.

The Bluebirds seem certain to be with Adam Matthews and Aaron Wildig with Kelvin Etuhu and Steve McPhail not yet ready to return. McPhail is back in training though which is great news. Solomon Taiwo is the latest player to be struck down with the virus that has been running through the club.

Leicester's Bruno Berner has been ruled out.

The defender is still to recover from the calf injury which forced him off during the 3-0 home win over Sheffield Wednesday on December 12, so on-loan Manchester City defender Ryan McGivern is likely to continue at left-back.

But boss Nigel Pearson will again be without the services of long-term absentees Aleksandar Tunchev and Stephen Clemence, who remain sidelined through injury.

Ashley Chambers will also miss out after joining Grimsby on loan until the end of the season.
