Off you go, the pair of you
Gilbert clashed with Paul McVeigh deep into injury time at the end of City's defeat to the Canaries.

The players faced up to each other and both saw red from the referee Mr Bates.

A straight red for violent conduct usually comes with a three match ban. With Kevin McNaughton out injured it will mean a reshuffle at the back for next weeks visit of Derby County.

Speaking about the sending off's both managers had something to say about their own players.

"He's a young man who is learning his trade and hopefully he'll learn something from what happened," Jones said about Kerrea Gilbert.

"He's only 19 and this is the first time anything like this has happened to him but hopefully it'll be the last."

Norwich manager Peter Grant was harsher on his player.

"Paul has let us down badly and I'm not pleased about it at all," said Grant. "Not only did he get himself needlessly sent off but he also gave away a free-kick in a dangerous position.

"I don't know how long he'll be banned but whatever happens he's not going to be in my squad for the next three games."
