Gill's sign new keeper after Bartram break

Gillingham's first choice keeper Jason Brown was between the sticks for Wales U21 in Pavia last Friday and had to pick the ball out of the back of the net 8 times. As Brown was was having a torrid time in Italy his replacement for Gillingham's game against Millwall on Saturday, Vince Bartram, was having a worse time. He sustained a double fracture of the wrist in Gillingham's 4 - 3 victory.

Brown, in goal again for Wales U21 tonight is expected to reclaim his first team place against Cardiff on Saturday but Gillingham have brought in Bertrand Bossou, a 22 year old Frenchman, who will replace the injured Bartram.

Bossou at 6' 5 has joined Gillingam from non league Hayes.

With my Cardiff City hat on I'd like to think City can capitalise on the goalkeeping upheaval in the Gillingham camp when the men from Kent come to Ninian Park on Saturday, 3:00pm.
