Goalless draw with Hammers. Website reaction

After John Robinson hit the post in the second half following two good chances by Gavin Gordon there might be those who feel it was points dropped.

West Ham came the closest late on when Jermaine Defoe had a goal dis-allowed, the linesman clearly signalled for offside before Defoe fired home.

There was nothing to suggest that these teams were worlds apart only last season. Cardiff can be proud of their effort against one of the promotion favourites.

A crowd of over 19,000 watched City's second consecutive home 0 - 0 draw but in the circumstances a point against the league leaders and then probably the biggest team in Div 1 is an indication that we are not in this division to make up the numbers.

Cardiff have now only lost 1 in the last 6, we are in 12th place and now have a run of easier looking games coming up. If we have serious ambitions then the next few games will prove it.

A win against Watford on Tuesday will move City up a place and keep us in touch with the top 10.
