The loss of Hall means that Lennie will now probably press on to complete the signing of Gary Doherty from Spurs.
Doherty did not travel to La Manga with the rest of ther Spurs squad for a pre season get together. As one of the international players that took part in late Euro 2004 games Doherty was excused from the trip along with Robbie Keane ans Stephen Carr amongst others.
