Harris:'The stadium is ready to be built'

The mystery man behind Cardiff City's new stadium today spoke for the first time about his role in making every Bluebirds fan's dream a reality.

Keith Harris was revealed as the man brokering the deal that will finally push through the long-awaited Leckwith development when news of the big City boardroom reshuffle broke last month.

That bombshell news saw Sam Hammam leave Ninian Park after six years in charge and Harris enter as the man lining up hedge funds to put £9m in for new shares, part of a deal that is expected to wipe out City's reported £24m debt.

Up until now Harris has remained in the background, a man almost impossible to contact.
