Scans have revealed it not to be a recurrance of the injury that kept him out for the previous four games.
He is being monitored ahead of the game with Doncaster on Saturday by the CCFC medical staff. The club also say that Jason Brown is still with the squad and available if selected this weekend.
Stephen Bywater will also be available after missing the game against his parent club, Derby, on Saturday.
