How the City internationals got on

The Wales situation is well documented now. 90 minutes and a hat trick for Earnie. 90 minutes in defence for Daniel Gabbidon and a Wales debut for Paul Parry with over 50 mins on the field after coming on as a sub for the injured Simon Davies.

Rhys Weston for Wales was on the bench but not used and Neil Alexander was not even named as a sub by Bertie Vogts.

City had two players on duty in Dublin where Ireland drew 0 - 0 with World Champions Brazil.

Graham Kavanagh played the full 90 minutes (match report here) and has made most headlines for a tackle on Arsenal's Gilberto Silva which looks like keeping the Gunner out of this Saturdays game with Chelsea. Alan Lee was an unused substitute.

Two other Bluebirds had flown much further from home. Tony Vidmar came on as a sub for the last 30 mins as Australia drew 1 - 1 with Venezuela in Caracas and Richard Langley started the game in Jamaica's 2 - 0 home win over Uruguay.

Congratulations to all the players and let's hope all report back to Ninian Park fit and well and ready for Saturdays huge game v Sunderland.
