CARDIFF City have accepted a £5m-plus offer from Sunderland for Michael Chopra.

And the Bluebirds' 22-goal hit-man is in talks on personal terms with the Premiership new boys today.

If the deal is completed - and that looks certain - Cardiff City will make a £4.5m profit on the striker in a little over 12 months.

Chopra, 23, joined City from Newcastle United in June last year for £500,000 - and plundered 22 Coca-Cola Championship goals.
