Howard Webb to referee City v Leicester

It was previously reported that Steve Bennett would be the referee but the Football League have now confirmed it's going to be Howard Webb.

D Coote and P Sharp will be the assistants with Lee Probert the 4th official.

Webb became a Premier league referee in the 2003 / 2004 season. He is a FIFA official who has refereed at just about every level.

FA Cup Final, Charity Shield, League Cup Final, Premier League, Play Off finals.

In 2008 he was a referee at Euro 2008, in 2009 he officiated games at the Confederations Cup in South Africa and earlier this year it was confirmed that he will be one of the officials at the World Cup in South Africa this summer.

Webb is considered the best referee in the UK.
