Hull are latest team linked with City stars

A £10m price tag is rumoured to have been slapped on their heads and there has been confirmation that Hull are interested, but not for silly money.

Bluebirds chairman Peter Ridsdale said: "Hull City have not contacted me or the club once about anything. No contact has been made, so I can't comment on this issue."

Phil Brown, manager of Hull City, appears to suggest an enquiry has been made but he's not looking to pay the price he was told.

"Joe Ledley and Ross McCormack are players that have done very, very well in the Championship," said Brown.

"Yes we are interested, but not at the prices we have been quoted.

"They'll be interesting again if the price comes down, but not the sum we have been quoted.

"We haven't put bids in or anything like that."

Hull were in the running to sign Michael Owen, Fraizer Campbell and Marc-Antoine Fortune but all those deals went elsewhere. McCormack apears to be the next striker on their list.
