Hulse confusion

After Dario Gradi saying yesterday that Rob Hulse did not want to come to Cardiff, the players agent has thrown another spanner in the works by saying he knew nothing of Hulse's comments to Gradi.

Stephen Hughes told the Western Mail

"I spoke to Rob on Monday night and, as far as I'm aware, we are travelling down to Cardiff, probably today.

"I'm not aware that Rob doesn't want to talk to Cardiff. Dario's comments have come as a bit of a surprise to me.

"When I spoke to Rob I told him we were going to talk to Cardiff this week and he didn't tell me he wasn't interested.

"I have arranged to go to Cardiff with him. As far as I know, I'm picking him up and we are driving down."

It's thought that Hulse is hoping for a Premiership team to come in for him. With no confirmed interest yet from a top flight team Hulse could be playing a very dangerous game. Crewe are planning their season without him and they could end up losing a lot of money if no other offer comes in for Hulse.

So this story is far from dead. It could go either way.
