Junichi Inamoto will stay at City for another month but as with Gary O'Neil and Portsmouth there is a clause allowing West Brom to recall the player if he is needed at the Hawthorns.

City are unberaten since Inamoto made his debut against Wolves on Boxing Day. He has brough the best out of City skiopper Graham Kavanagh who also flourished alongside O'Neil.

"We've extended Inamoto's loan period for another month, though West Bromwich could recall the player at any given time," Lennie told the Echo.

"We're hopeful we can agree to take the player for a third month, but we'll have to see as the situation develops."
