C:WindowsTempphp802.tmpNeil Warnock has spoken about the comments made by former Nottingham Forest player Kenny Burns (pictured) after Cardiff's 2 - 0 win at The City Ground.

The European Cup winner was quite disrespectful to the Cardiff boss with personal jibes as well as trashing his style of football.

However, Warnock responded “You get bitterness and usually when you’ve beaten someone, but people showed me some of the stuff Kenny Burns said.

“I remember him coming down to the tunnel at Bramall Lane, II think it was a semi-final – and he was only an ambassador or something – when we were 2-0 down to Forest.

“We ended up winning 4-3 and I had the ‘Warnock way’ and all that stuff from him back then.

“I just didn’t like the Ken Dodd stuff, the lads will pick up on that and make fun, I’m sure. I like to think I’m a better comedian than him,” Warnock joked.

“Kenny had a go at managing and I think it lasted three weeks, it’s easy to sit up there, isn’t it?

“I’m sure he (Kenny Burns) realises that we’re in professional football and we aren’t here to let people have a lovely afternoon at our benefit,

“I’ve had bigger people than Kenny Burns criticise me over the years. I have a few friends who are Forest supporters and one of them said it was like men against boys and I thought it was a very good performance.”

"My dad used to say to me, when they stop criticising you, that’s when you worry."
