Jeffers is the latest striker linked to City

The one time great hope for the Premiership and England is currently a Blackburn player. He ended last season on loan at Ipswich, scoring against City on the last day of the season.

The stats make poor reading. Since breaking through as a 16 year old at Everton Jeffers has only started 69 league games in 10 years.

Still it's just media speculation at the moment.
