Jerome in talks with Birmingham

There seems little doubt that City will lose Cameron Jerome this summer. Third highest league goalscorer in the Championship and already an England U21 international, at 19 Jerome is hot property.

Steve Bruce last week confirmed he had made offers for the player and now it appears Cardiff have agreed a fee with the Blues and Cameron is free to discuss terms.

"We are talking with Birmingham, after we were told we could do so by Cardiff - so from that you can presume they have agreed terms," said Jerome's agent Tony Finnigan.

"At this moment they are the only club we are talking with or have been told we can talk with. We would expect Cameron's future to be decided by early next week."

The suggestions are that Birmngham have come up with a deal worth potentially £3.5 - £4m.
