"It's nice recognition for the club, but if you speak to most managers they'll tell you they're a bit embarrassed when they get awards like this," Jewell said.
"I see it as an award for the team and all the staff that work here, but it's nice when your work is being recognised."
Mike Newell won the League 1 award with his Luton side winning their opening 6 games.
The league 2 award went to Brian Laws of Scunthorpe.
