Jimmy can't believe Wembley date

Hasselbaink, an FA Cup runner up with Chelsea in Cardiff in 2002, is looking forward at the ripe old age of 36 to get to play at the new Wembley.

"I am going to Wembley and cannot believe it," he said after City's win at Middlesbrough.

"I thought it would be a bad result for Chelsea to lose against Barnsley because I thought Middlesbrough would be more focused and determined.

"I didn't think that Gareth Southgate needed to wind them up that much. But our boys were totally up for it and focused.

"I feel for Boro. I didn't want to play Middlesbrough, to be fair, because do you celebrate - yes or no?

"I am a little bit disappointed for them, but at the end of the day, Cardiff pay my wages and I have to try and do my best for them.

"And you are in a game to win."

City are in the semi finals after goals from Peter Whittingham and Roger Johnson saw off Middlesbrough.
