Jody Morris in the papers again

Not much City news around today but what is printed in the papers is consistent. The News of the World, The People, The Mirror, Wales on Sunday and even the Observer all claim we are deep in talks with Jody Morris from Chelsea. He's been linked before but suggestions that he earns £30k a week are pretty frightening.

No real quotes from those involved so we'll wait and see.

Gary Doherty from Spurs is likely to be the next signing. It's reported that Spurs want £1.2m for him. City are said to have offered £600K. Spurs Director of Football David Pleat wantsto recoup the money he paid Lennie Lawrence at Luton in 2000.

So we are only 6 days away from the first pre season friendly. City are in action against Koge of Denmark (game being played in Sweden) next Saturday, July 19th.

Will there be any more new faces on the plane when it heads for Scandinavia at the end of the week?
