Jones and Bothroyd shortlisted for monthly awards

Jones has led Cardiff to a clean sweep of five victories from five matches during October while Bothroyd has taken the lead in the Championship top scorers table.

Both men have a serious chance of winning their respective awards.

The results will be announced on Thursday November 11th.

The nominations for Manager of the Month are:

Dave Jones, Steve Cotterill, Brendan Rodgers and Aidy Boothroyd.

The nominations for Player of the Month are:

Scott Sinclair, Liam Lawrence, Lewis McGugan and Jay Bothroyd.
