Jones sweating over Bothroyd fitness

Bothroyd scored City's first goal in the 2 - 2 draw at Burley before going off with knee ligament problems.

The injury to Bothroyd may ease another decision for Jones. Steve McPhail is able to play again after his two game ban and Jones would have needed to have made the decision to probably drop Paul Parry to allow McPhail back in the side. Joe Ledley would move back to left wing with Parry going on the bench.

But if Bothroyd is out then Parry can go upfront with Michael Chopra so no tough calls to make.

Hopefully Bothroyd will be fit. If it was me I'd put McPhail on the bench as Ledley, acting as skipper and Gavin Rae have done well the last two games.

After collecting 4 points from the last 6 City go into the game with confidence picking up. The Bluebirds should have won at Turf Moor but that will still be a good point if City can win at Portman Rd. Mind you, the last time City won at Ipswich was on December 21st, 1946!
