Jones himself does not think he has done anything wrong.
"I don't see why I should be punished," said Jones. "I was angry with the referee because I think he was the only person in the stadium that didn't think it was a penalty. He didn't make a big call.
"I will have to leave it in the hands of the FAW and what they decide, but he has got away with it at the end of the day because it is a big decision for us.
"It is the first time I have been sent to the stands in my career and hopefully it will be the last."
City ended up drawing the game 1 - 1 with boath goals coming in the second half.
