Jones to keep players focussed on league

Stay focussed
City face Leeds, Derby, Plymouth, Q.P.R, Southampton and Reading inside 23 days and then come Arsenal.

Jones says the Highbury experience will be "fantastic for the supporters, the club and the players. We will concentrate full on Arsenal once we've played Reading away on Jan 2nd."

Any player withn his head in the Highbury clouds before then could see himself out of the team.

'Anybody who starts thinking about Arsenal and isn't focused on league games won't be at Highbury at all,' Jones told the Echo.

'That's not down to me, it's the responsibility of each and every player.

'We have a lot of points to pick up between now and January 7 and there are far more pressing matters to worry about than what might happen next month.

It's a big game, an exciting game, but our priority between now and then are Coca-Cola Championship matches.'
