Dave Jones comments ahead of today's big game. Cardiff need 1 point to guarantee a play off place.
“We are still far better off than the two teams below us. We know what we have to do." said Jones.
“We’ve been chasing for a long time. I said a few weeks ago that people shouldn’t get too down if we don’t make the top two. That’s what happened, but people seem to forget the situation is still in our hands.
“But we are still in a great position. We’ve had a fantastic season and now we must make sure we finish things off properly.
“We have been building for the last 18 months to get where we are and we’ve done well. Now it’s important to make sure we go that extra step.
“There will be a lot of backing for Cardiff City at Hillsborough and Sheffield Wednesday expect their biggest attendance of the season.
“There are six clubs still fighting for a top two finish or a play-off place. That’s not a bad position for us to be in as we prepare for the final game.
“There are a lot of clubs fighting for something.”
