Judge rules in Cardiff City favour

Last updated : 19 March 2008 By Michael Morris

The judge said the case was "clearly unsuitable for summary determination".

He also refused Langston permission to appeal to the Court of Appeal.

The judge was invited by both sides in the dispute to delay the full hearing of the case for two months in the hope that it can now be resolved without the need for further court action.

Langston must decide if they will accept the current terms of the loan repayment, negotiate a possible new deal with Cardiff City or take the matter to a full expensive and very complex court case that could take a couple of years.

There is no doubt that the money is owed. But thanks to Justice Briggs not due for immediate payment.
