Lee Bullock and Graham Kavanagh have both been praising the arrival of No'2 Terry Burton.

It's no coincidence that since Burton arrived City have turned from a team struggling with form and fitness into a team that is playing exciting football over the full 90 mins.

"Terry's been brilliant - he's definitely had a big effect on our recent performances," Bullock told the Western Mail.

"He's brought a new lease of life into the place with fresh ideas that have kept the players on their toes and made them eager to impress. All of the players are loving his training sessions. He plans things out thoroughly in advance and works with players on an individual basis.

"Terry works a lot on defending, closing teams down and attacking quickly."

Kav was equally impressed by the new man.

"My energy levels are fantastic," Kav told the Echo, "Much of that is down to the way we are preparing.

"The gaffer and Terry Burton are working closely together and we have had a consistent run of performances over eight or nine games.

"We are confident as a team right now when we go into matches, we feel we are going to win every game and we believe in each other. Terry addressed the defensive set-up throughout the team."

Ignoring the 0 - 2 home defeat by Derby just 48 hours after Burton joined City the Bluebirds have now lost only once in the last 10 games and in that time we have moved into the last 16 of the Carling Cup.
