Kav and Legg to play for charity

Graham Kavanagh will captain a Wales XI against England at Penydarryn Park, Merthyr on Friday May 20th, ko 7:00pm.

The match will raise money for Ty Hafan with all proceeds going to the charity.

Graham Kavanagh has confirmed he will play in the game and Andy Legg has also insisted on taking part and will play alongside his former City team mate.

Players set to appear for Wales include Joe Calzaghe, Neville Southall, Stuart Cable, Ieuen Evans, Mickey Thomas, Malcolm Allen, David Giles and snooker star Matthew Stevens. The Wales team will be managed by Matthew Jones.

The England team is set to include former Arsenal players Nigel Winterburn and Paul Davis and a selection of Fleet St's finest football writers.

Other names like Ally McCoist and Martin Offiah are possibles for the event.

Entry to the ground is by programme on sale from Penydarryn Park and from Ticketline in Cardiff. Cost £5.00 and also pay at the gate.

Match referee will be Keith Cooper.

This match is on the eve of the FA Cup final in Cardiff with every penny raised going to Ty Hafan.
