The Ambassadors voted and the kit chosen was the now "iconic" yellow and white striped jersey that was worn in the 70's. One of the most famous images is pictured right with Robin Friday showing Luton's Milija Aleksic what he thought of him after scoring a goal at Ninian Park (full sized pic below).
The badge chosen is the one (below) used by the club until Sam's change into the St Davids's cross style badges.
