The 21 year old has been at Ninian Park on trial for the past couple of weeks and Lennie has liked what he's seen.
"We are interested in doing something and that will take place in the next few days," Lawrence told the Echo but the paper speculates that the player will be offered a 6 month deal with an option to extend. The short term deal will allow the player to leave in the summer if things do not work out.
Paul Parry has signed a contract extension at Ninian Park. The new deal sees Parry commit himself to the Bluebirds until 2007.
