Koumas heavily linked to City move

The story here from the Wales on Sunday says that the Welsh international could move on a seasons long loan to Ninian Park.

City will be making more signings. So far we have seen Neil Cox, Jeff Whitley, Glen Loovens and Jermaine Darlington sign on for the club and we could expect to possibly see the triallists McCunnie, Mulryne and Ferretti offered deals. David Fernandez is still linked with a move to Ninian Park.

Then we have Koumas as a possible and his WBA team mate Darren Purse is a done deal it appears after rejecting a move to Southampton

'Southampton have a good manager, a new stadium and have only just come out of the Premiership, but he has chosen Cardiff City," said Sam Hammam before the weekend.

"That is a compliment to us. There are one or two small matters to sort out and then Darren will have a medical.'

When asked about signing Fernandez Dave Jones said

"I don't talk about players who are coming or going until it is all signed sealed and delivered. I don't try to be funny, but, if we don't get players, then everybody gets disappointed.

"But there are more players to come in, possibly four or five before the start of the new season."

City have two home friendlies coming up in the next week. Udinese visit Ninian Park on Wednesday 27th July and WBA bring Robert Earnshaw home on Sunday July 31st.
