Langley celebrates his goal at Accrington
Richard Langley has one year left on his City contract but his exit from Ninian park could be much sooner.

The midfielder was left out of the travelling squad that went to Ipswich and he's been told by Dave Jones that he does not feature in his plans.

'It's the end of an era for me" Langley told the Echo

'The manager has told me he's looking to bring in his own players and that my wages are too high for the club to sustain over the rest of the season, so I should look for another club.

'If the right offer comes along I'll be on my way. Sam Hammam said three more players had to go - I could well be one of them.'

He has been linked to a move back to QPR but he's have to accept lower wages.

Another player in a smiliar position is Andy Campbell. He along with Langley and possibly Martyn Margetson are the players most likely to be leaving the club if City can offload them.

Langley went on the pre season tour and scored a cracker of a goal against Accrington but that could be the last goal we've seen from him.
