Until there's a definitive statement from the hearing at Wembley we are left to guess what could happen.
If Rangers were to be deducted 10 points or more than Cardiff could get promoted with a win at Burnley on Saturday. Fail to win and Swansea could go up.
Rangers though would be sure to appeal any decision that would strip them of automatic promotion and the uncertainty that would leave could see the play offs put back a week.
It's all speculation at the moment until the announcement is made.
Cardiff must ensure they beat Burnley to be in the best position - whatever happens. Seeing us blow a a chance of automatic promotion last Monday hurt like hell, to see us blow it again and lose out to Swansea is unthinkable.
