Last gasp Forest leave City topless

Jay Bothroyd had given City a lead midway through the 2nd half and it looked as if it would take the Bluebirds to the top of Championship but again City sat back, defended deep and allowed the opposition to come on looking for a goal.

At Sheff Utd last week we had a two goal cushion and just managed to hang on but with only a one goal lead this time we ended up level at full time.

Forest will feel it a fair result on play and possession. City will be kicking themselves as they created the better chances and forced some very good saves from Lee Camp in the Forest goal.

Bothroyd's goal was typical passing (Arsenal style) football. Great work through midfield and a crisp finish from Ledley's pass.

Forest's leveller was a stunning shot from the masked McGugan but it came courtesy of three deflections.

Now City look to Bramall Lane on Monday night. If Sheff Utd beat Newcastle we stay 2nd.

Whatever happens if we beat Swansea in the early game (live on Sky) next Saturday we'll go top.
