He's urged his team mates to make history next weekend at Weembley Stadium. Ledley scored the winning goal in the semi final to earn Cardiff City a place in the most famous domestic Cup Final in the World.

"It was probably the best goal I've scored and hopefully someone can make history on 17 May," he told the BBC.

"It's brilliant for us players to be in the final. Some of us may not get another chance to do this so we have to make the day special."

Leldey is also happy to see striker Paul Parry back in action. Parry missed the semi final but returned to action last Saturday and scored a goal that was set up by Ledley. With few injury worries City have a virtual full strength squad to choose from.

"I don't think there are that many people injured now and we have got a strong squad," said Ledley.

"Hopefully we can go to Wembley with everyone fully fit and fighting for their places.

"It's great that Paul Parry is back. He's up there as top goal-scorer with me so hopefully he can perform on the day."
