Leeds Utd rejected a £4m bid for Ross McCormack today with the former Cardiff player saying
"I'm club captain and I look forward to continue playing at the club under Brian McDermott for the rest of the season."
Well before McCormack has had chance to polish his boots the Leeds boss has been sacked.
McCormack has spoken to Sky this evening to give the first official confirmation that McDermott has been sacked.
McCormack "I was happy and content at the club but that was because of Brian McDermott"
There's three hours left of the window so it's unlikely anything will change but I'm struggling for words now."
Obviously struggling to express himself fully McCormack was gutted at the departure of McDermott. He implied that if he knew McDermott was being sacked earlier he may have thought differently about the possibility of leaving Leeds.
