Legg close to Peterborough switch

Barry Fry met Legg today and it's a case of finalising the paperwork. Legg wanted to take part in Posh's friendly against Kettering tonight but Fry wants him to train with the other players first.

Fry told the Peterborough official website

'Andy wanted a half tonight, but I am reluctant to give him 45 minutes as he hasn't trained with the team yet. He will train this week and should be involved in some capacity against Norwich on Saturday and Derby County on Tuesday night.

'It is just the final paperwork to be completed over our agreement and I am very confident Andy will be joining us in the very near future. He is a very fit player and played 46 games for Cardiff City last term and he will bring vital experience to our squad.'

Good luck and best wishes to Andy Legg.
