Andy Legg has agreed a deal with Barry Fry at Peterborough Utd. He played 30 mins of a pre season friendly against Norwich on Saturday and will feature again when 'boro take on Derby on Tuesday night.

Best wishes to Andy Legg and good luck with his coaching ambitions.

Barry Fry told www.theposh.com
'Andrew Legg has agreed to sign for us on a one-year contract as player/coach of the Football Club. He turned down six better offers to join us, he enjoyed his stay when he played for Posh on-loan and I am delighted to have got him.

'I think he will be a great help to youngsters Rory Hutton, Mark Coulson, Jamie Day and also to fellow Welshman Gareth Jelleyman as he has played left-back, left-wing and left-wing back and I am sure Andy will be able to teach these players a lot.

I mainly want him to play, but his coaching duties will be to bring those four players on and also organise all our dead-ball situations. He is a great player and a great lad off the field and I am delighted to have his experience on board at the club"

Meanwhile former defender Michael Simpkins will sign this week for Rochdale.
