Len Ashurst testimonial tonight v Birmingham City

Former Cardiff City manager Len Ashurst (1982 - 1984 and 1989 - 1991) is rewarded tonight for his work in Cardiff and Wales with a testimonial against Birmingham City.

Both Cardiff and Birmingham have pledged to field strong sides in a match that will also see a few old faces making an appearance. Players from Ashhurt's spells in charge are expected as well as an appearance from recently retired Scott Young. Carl Dale and Jason Perry are also expected to play again in a City shirt.

Ashurst has been working in Youth Develpoment for the FAW but is moving from South Wales to the North East.

Proceeds from tonights match will be split between Ashurst's testimonial fund and the Noah's Ark Appeal for a childrens hospital in Wales.

Admission tonight is £15 for adults in centre Grandstand with consession £10. All other areas of the ground are £10 / £5 except for Spar Family stand where kids under 16 can get in for £2.

The Bob Bank will not be open.
