Lennie contemplating red card appeal

Lennie Lawrence will ask to see the match video before deciding whether or not to appeal against Gary Croft's straight red card for a fould on Danny Cadimarteri.

Watching from the stand it was a definate foul but did not seem harsh enough to see Croft sent off. The incident happened in front of the Bradford supporters and Lennie feels they may have influenced the referee.

"That only looked a yellow card to me - I felt the crowd got Gary Croft sent off," Lawrence told the Wales on Sunday.

"It's sad and ironic that he should get a straight red because his defensive performance was excellent, he did a really good job out there.

"But the referee's display wasn't that impressive throughout. I will look at the match video and then I might well ask the referee to rescind the decision on Croft."
