Lennie embarrassed. Managers reaction

Lennie Lawrence:
"All I want is a striker to score and I don't appear to have one. It is astonishing and embarrassing.

"I have never before been involved in such a one-sided game, yet we still failed to win.

"No other side needs the 17 corners and 22 attempts we had to score. We get in the box and do everything wrong, yet up to then we are as good as anybody."

Dario Gradi:
"It should have been all over by half-time. We should have been dead and buried by then.

"But I told my players during the interval that we were still in the game and they responded after the break.

"Cardiff are a good side but if you can't score goals, you are going to struggle and I am not sure that they have the strikers to do the job."
