Lennie gets 1000th match recognition.

Lennie's 1000th game is the home league tie with Bristol City at Ninian Park next Saturday. The figures from www.soccerbase.com are widely recognised.

They do though only record games actually entered on their data base and after much searching by the Echo and the Club it would appear that Lennies has already passed the 1000th game in charge barrier.

Lennie will be presented with an award to mark his achievment at the Bristol City game.

Ironically Lennie will be watching the game from the stands that night as he is serving the first ever touchline ban of his career for being sent off at Plymouth.

One sending off in 1000 games, I suppose we'll let him off.

Lennie joins such greats as Matt Busby, Brian Clough, Dario Gradi, Graham Taylor and Dave Bassett in the 1,000 up club.

Congratulations Lennie.
