Lennie misses out on manager of the month

5 wins and a draw for Lennie during September was not quite enough to win the manager of the month award. Oldham's Ian Dowie scored 6 wins out of 6. With Oldham in such good form it goes to show what a big win we achieved there on the opening day.

Mickey Adams (with Alan Cork his no.2) won the first division award and Wrexhams' Denis Smith the third division.
