Lawrence was talking after City's win at Derby.
''He's got good feet, can see a pass and lasted the full game as well, so I was very happy with him.
''We've got him for an initial one month but with the option to keep him for a second or third month after that.
''The flipside of that is Bryan Robson can call him back but he doesn't seem to be in Robbo's plans at the moment because he's the only outfield player he's let out on loan.
''I'd like to think there would be a possibility of signing him on a permanent basis but at the moment it's difficult to see how likely that could be.''
