Lennie to send out first team against Margate

The City boss will select his strongest team for the game as City City hope avoid a potential major giant killing.

Conference Margate knocked Orient out in the last round and City do not want to be next. Lawrence said of his team selection

"It is unlikely there will be any player rotation for the match against Margate. We are deadly serious about this cup-tie. Any player rotation will kick in for the LDV Trophy match at Bournemouth."

City will choose from a squad of 19 players, Daniel Gabbidon will not be risked for this game.

City can expect to line up

Alexander, Weston, Prior, Barker, Croft, Hamilton, Boland, Kavanagh, Legg, Thorne and Earnshaw. Subs from Margetson, Collins, Fan Zhiyi, Maxwell, Bonner, Bowen, Leo FW, Campbell.

Lennie will then rotate his squad for the trip to Bournemouth, he did not want his first team sitting around for 2 weeks without any action hence the probable line up at Margate. The majority of the Margate first team will then miss Bournemouth with the subs coming in to start the game and possibly Rhys Weston getting a game at Dean Court as he will have to sit out the Bristol City through suspension.
